In a significant operation against illegal narcotics, the District Special Team, in collaboration with Sukher Police Station, arrested a 27-year-old Kenyan woman, Nancy Avino, for possessing 30.17 grams of MDMA, a banned substance. The operation was part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign led by Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal.

The operation, carried out on January 26, was supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha and Circle Officer Kailashchand, with the joint team led by Inspector Shyam Singh Ratnu (District Special Team In-Charge) and Ravindra Charan, Station Officer of Sukher Police Station.

Nancy, the daughter of Daniel Ochung Christian, is a resident of Nairobi Kisumu West, Kenya. She was staying at the Heritage Haveli Guest House in Udaipur, Rajasthan, at the time of her arrest. Police confiscated the MDMA from her possession during the operation.

A case has been registered, and authorities are continuing their investigations to uncover any connections to larger drug networks. The arrest marks a strong step in Udaipur’s ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade and ensure public safety.
