A 52-year-old doctor, identified as Dr Sambit Kumar Mohanty, was allegedly murdered by a dietician in Chattarpur Enclave, Delhi. The incident took place when the doctor had invited the accused to his home to help prepare a diet plan.
The accused, Sunny Sharma, a 23-year-old dietician, was arrested by the police on Thursday. During questioning, Sharma reportedly claimed that Dr Mohanty tried to touch him inappropriately, which led to the fatal attack. Sharma allegedly slit the doctor’s throat in response to the incident.
