Jefferson County Drug Bust Leads to Arrest of Cyrus Williams

Authorities seize large quantities of drugs and firearms

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation following a drug bust on Monday.

The Jefferson County Vice and Narcotics Division, alongside the SWAT Team, executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of 12th Place North in Birmingham. During the raid, 31-year-old Cyrus Williams was apprehended and taken into custody.

Authorities uncovered a significant haul of drugs, including 6,708 grams of methamphetamine, 316 grams of fentanyl, 398 grams of marijuana, 8 pills of Oxycodone, 28 pills of Adderall, and 1.3 grams of a heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine compound. In addition, authorities seized five firearms, one of which was stolen.

Williams has been charged with drug trafficking, possession of marijuana, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. His bond has been set at $120,000, and he was later released on bond.
