CHESTERVILLE, Maine — Five individuals are facing charges following a months-long drug trafficking investigation conducted by the Maine DEA. The suspects were arrested after law enforcement executed search warrants in Chesterville, Waldoboro, and Windsor.

Among the arrested, three are from New York: 22-year-old Cristian Ortega, 20-year-old Jordan Campbell, and 21-year-old Jared Campbell. The two New York residents, Ortega and Jordan Campbell, are being held at Kennebec County Jail and are scheduled for court hearings on Wednesday. Jared Campbell posted bail and is due in court in January.

The Maine residents involved are 36-year-old Lacey Dougher and 44-year-old Tim Murray. Both are being held without bail at Franklin County Jail.

The investigation led to the seizure of significant quantities of illicit substances, including 72 grams of fentanyl, 15 grams of cocaine base, two loaded handguns, and suspected drug money. Additionally, a vehicle tied to a shooting incident in New York City was seized during the operation.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to uncover further details.
