Brandonville Man Curtis Shorette Arrested for Selling Heroin

Curtis Shorette faces felony charges after drug bust in Dunmore

DUNMORE – Curtis Shorette, 46, of Brandonville, was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple felony drug charges after allegedly selling heroin to a confidential informant in Lackawanna County.

According to Scranton Police, a confidential informant arranged the purchase of heroin from Shorette in Dunmore. Upon meeting with Shorette, law enforcement officers arrested him and found a large quantity of heroin in his possession.

Shorette faces felony charges of possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility. He was unable to post his $100,000 bail and was committed to Lackawanna County Prison.

A preliminary hearing for Shorette is scheduled for January 23.
