Two Men Arrested in Waterbury on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

Savory Trueheart and Rondrae Rogers Arrested for Possessing Drugs with Intent to Sell

WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) — Savory Trueheart and Rondrae Rogers, both 38 and from Waterbury, were arrested on drug-related charges after a traffic stop on January 7. The arrests came after police conducted patrols in the Walnut and North Walnut Streets area due to community complaints about drug activity.

According to authorities, officers stopped the vehicle the suspects were in, leading to the seizure of:

$923 in cash
264.1 grams of marijuana
3.7 grams of fentanyl
Trueheart and Rogers were both charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. They were each released on $50,000 bonds.

Trueheart was scheduled to appear in court on January 16, while Rogers’ court date is set for February 11.

Police noted that both individuals have criminal histories involving prior drug offenses.
