DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. — A man wanted for multiple drug-related charges was arrested on January 15, 2025, by deputies with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office. Christopher Jordan Smith, 31, was taken into custody after being charged with several serious offenses related to drug possession and distribution.
Smith faces the following charges:
Felony possession of methamphetamine
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
Possession of a fictitious registration plate
In addition, Smith was served with multiple outstanding warrants, including:
Two counts of felony selling a Schedule II controlled substance
Felony manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance
Three counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Felony manufacture of methamphetamine
Two counts of felony manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance
Four counts of felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance
Four counts of felony delivering a Schedule II controlled substance
Two counts of felony selling a Schedule II controlled substance
Smith is currently being held in the Duplin County Jail without bond. The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case.
