The ongoing investigation into a multi-million naira scam involving former staffers of Brila Media Group has taken a new turn with the arrest of Babafemi Raji, also known as “Topmost Striker.” The former Brila Media employee was apprehended last week by operatives from the Federal Intelligence Department, Force Headquarters, Lagos.

Raji’s arrest is linked to a massive fraud scheme that allegedly involved over N150,000,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira). The fraud was carried out by a cartel of criminal elements, including some former employees of Brila Media, who reportedly defrauded the organization for years while employed there.

Sources indicate that Raji’s arrest came after a police investigation, during which other suspects implicated him in the fraudulent activities. Some of those arrested have reportedly confessed and are now seeking settlements with authorities.

Despite attempts to reach Mr. Larry Izamoje, the founder of Brila Media, for comment on the ongoing investigation, no response has been received.

Currently on administrative bail, Babafemi Raji is expected to face charges in court soon. His arrest is seen as a significant development in the investigation, which may continue to expand as authorities work to bring all involved parties to justice.
