by Amelia Crawford

WARRINGTON, Bucks County, PA – Dustin Lawrence from Bangor, Maine, was arrested in Warrington, Bucks County, after attempting to withdraw money at First Citizens Community Bank using a fake ID.

On the morning of the incident, Lawrence walked into the bank on Easton Road and tried to make a withdrawal. When the teller requested identification, the name on the ID didn’t match the bank’s records. The bank manager was called, and Lawrence asked for the ID back before leaving the bank empty-handed. The identification he presented was under the name “Walter Hackman,” but police later determined Lawrence was not Hackman.

Authorities were called to the scene after Lawrence left the bank. He was found in a nearby pizza shop, where police met with him and confirmed his true identity as Dustin Lawrence. During the encounter, officers found a bag containing narcotic residue in his possession.

Lawrence was arrested and charged with identity theft and related offenses. His bail was set at $35,000/10 percent, and he was remanded to the Bucks County Prison.
