PERRY, Ga. (WGXA) — The Perry Police Department made several arrests this week in connection to a series of thefts involving stolen golf carts, firearms, and drug trafficking.
On December 18, officers arrested Edward Hargreaves, 37, and Ashley Cebada, 42, after they attempted to flee on a stolen golf cart from Mike’s Carts on Sam Nunn Blvd. in Perry. During a search of the cart, authorities found methamphetamines and firearms in their possession. Hargreaves and Cebada face multiple charges, including theft, property damage, drug possession, and firearm violations.
The next day, on December 19, Perry police recovered another stolen golf cart at a residence on New Castle Drive in Warner Robins. There, they arrested 50-year-old Kerry Holt. Holt was charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and trafficking methamphetamines.
