Red Bluff, Calif. — A Red Bluff man was arrested early Sunday morning after drugs were discovered during a routine traffic stop, according to the Red Bluff Police Department (RBPD).

At approximately 12:05 a.m. on December 22, an officer stopped a 2000 Ford SUV for vehicle code violations near the intersection of David Avenue and Walnut Street. While speaking with the driver, Kenneth White, 66, the officer observed drug paraphernalia inside the car, prompting a call for backup and a probable cause search.

During the search, authorities discovered about half an ounce of methamphetamine and evidence that indicated the drugs were intended for sale. White was arrested and taken to the Tehama County Jail.

White faces several charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, and a misdemeanor warrant arrest.
