Coimbatore Police Arrest 6 for Peddling Prescription Drugs

Police arrest six Coimbatore residents and a Kerala native for drug peddling

In a crackdown on drug peddling, the Coimbatore City Police arrested six individuals from Coimbatore and a Kerala native for their involvement in the illegal sale of prescription drugs.

The arrested suspects have been identified as:

J. Newton,
K. Ramesh
P. Soundarraj
K. Ragul, 24r
Mohammed Anas
G. Ramprasath
B. Sudarsanan
The police team, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid and apprehended the suspects who were allegedly involved in selling prescription drugs without valid prescriptions. Authorities have seized a large quantity of illegally distributed drugs from the arrested individuals.

The police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation into the drug peddling network, which is believed to be operating across both Coimbatore and parts of Kerala.
