Michael Hall, a 32-year-old adult film actor from Van Buren, Arkansas, was sentenced on December 18 to 10 months in Crawford County jail after pleading guilty to human trafficking and other serious charges. Hall, also known by his stage name “Apollo Stone,” was found guilty of attempted human trafficking, two counts of aggravated assault, and terroristic threatening. In addition to his jail sentence, Hall has been banned from participating in, directing, uploading, or selling any form of pornography for the next 10 years.
Crawford County Prosecutor Kevin Holmes explained that Hall made significant profits from producing pornography featuring legal-age women who were made to perform in a way that portrayed them as teenagers. Hall was also found to have physically assaulted the women when they refused to create content as directed.
“Hall was making hundreds of thousands of dollars selling pornography depicting legal-age girls acting like teenagers,” Holmes stated in a social media post. “He was also physically violent with them when they would not create content.”
This case highlights the disturbing nature of Hall’s crimes and serves as a warning about the exploitation and abuse occurring within the adult film industry. With his sentence, Hall now faces both legal and professional consequences, with the 10-year ban from the pornography industry aimed at preventing any future involvement in such activities.
The case has shocked the local community and further emphasizes the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals from exploitation, particularly in industries like adult entertainment.
Hall’s sentencing provides a sense of justice for those harmed by his actions, though authorities continue to investigate and crack down on similar criminal activities within the industry.
