The Martinsville Police Department announced the arrest of eleven suspects on drug-related charges Thursday as part of an ongoing effort to combat illegal drug distribution in the community.
According to the MPD, these indictments were the result of a long-standing commitment to fighting the harm caused by illegal drugs. The department highlighted the strong partnership developed between local law enforcement and the community, which contributed to the success of these arrests.
The following individuals were charged:
Stephanie Nicole Carter: Distribute Meth
Keith Allan Brim: Manufacture Cocaine
Ricardo Neville Thawe: Distribute Meth (2 counts)
Nicholas Allen Clouser: Possess Meth
Misti Diane Williams: Possess with intent to distribute Meth (3rd offense, 2 counts)
Jessica Lynn Beal: Distribute Schedule 1 drug, Distribute Schedule 2 drug
Danielle Renee Chappell: Possess Fentanyl
Cory Roger Bragg: Possess with intent to distribute Meth (2nd offense)
Buford Leander Preston: Possess Cocaine, Possess scheduled drug while possessing a firearm, Possess Schedule I/II drug, Felony elude police
Deandra Steven Candy: Distribute Meth (2 counts), Distribute heroin, Distribute Fentanyl, Possess firearm while selling Schedule I/II drug, Possess firearm by a violent felon
Leanna Marie Walker: Distribute Meth (2 counts)
