Moore County, N.C. – In a coordinated effort between local, state, and federal agencies, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrests of 10 individuals on charges related to the distribution of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. The arrests were the result of a two-year undercover investigation involving the Moore County, Montgomery County, and Stanly County Sheriff’s Offices, along with federal authorities.

The operation, which spanned multiple jurisdictions, led to significant drug and firearm seizures, including:

45 kilograms of fentanyl

Sheriff Fields emphasized the importance of multi-agency cooperation, stating, “As we battle the sale of illicit drugs and the violence that so often accompany these crimes, the partnership between our local, state, and federal agencies has never been more important. Working together towards the same goal has paid great dividends when it comes to impacting criminal networks that continue to seek death and destruction on our streets.”
