In a significant drug trafficking operation, Aman Preet Singh, the younger brother of Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, was arrested along with 13 others by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Hyderabad’s Special Operations Team (SOT). The operation led to the seizure of 199 grams of cocaine and the apprehension of several drug peddlers in Hyderabad.

Aman Preet Singh, who is the founder and CEO of the talent discovery platform Starring You, was accused of being involved in a network responsible for distributing cocaine in the city’s high society and party scene. Singh, who had briefly pursued a career in acting, was arrested alongside other individuals, including Aniketh Reddy, Prasad, Madhusudhan, and Nikhil Daman.

The operation followed the seizure of 2.6 kgs of cocaine in an earlier raid by the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department, which led investigators to trace the drug ring’s activities. Aman and several accomplices tested positive for cocaine, which further confirmed their involvement in the illegal drug supply.

The authorities’ investigation into this narcotics trafficking network revealed the existence of a broader drug ecosystem in Hyderabad, catering to affluent individuals. The NCB and SOT also seized two motorcycles, ten mobile phones, and two passports from the arrested individuals.

This bust is part of ongoing efforts to crack down on narcotics abuse in high-profile circles. Aman Preet Singh’s arrest follows his earlier involvement in a separate inquiry related to drug trafficking, where other celebrities were also questioned.
