Investigations Division arrested 51-year-old Tammy Feet Davis of Houma on multiple felony charges following an extensive investigation into fraudulent activity. The investigation, coordinated with the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, revealed that Davis had been submitting fraudulent tax returns using victims’ identities and personal information to claim false government benefits.
The investigation led to the following criminal charges against Davis:
2 counts of Government Benefits Fraud
1 count of Identity Theft
3 counts of Felony Theft
1 count of Computer Fraud
1 count of Bank Fraud
1 count of Forgery (Felony)
1 count of Failure to Appear related to felony theft
Davis is currently being held at the Terrebonne Parish Jail with a bond set at $370,000.
