Columbus Police Arrest Wayne Allen in Connection with Fatal Hit-and-Run
The Columbus Police Department has arrested Wayne Allen in connection to a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on July 7. According to police, Allen was identified as the driver responsible for the death of 51-year-old Patrick Nerber.
Nerber was struck and killed near the intersection of Buena Vista Road and Mill Road. After the collision, Allen fled the scene, prompting an investigation by the CPD’s Motor Squad. The investigation led to Allen’s arrest on Friday, December 13.

He is scheduled to appear in Recorder’s Court on Monday, December 16, to answer the charges related to the accident.
