An alleged letter of undertaking signed by Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable Zazu, has surfaced online following his recent arrest. The document outlines the terms of a deal he made with a car dealer for the purchase of a black Mercedes-Benz GLE 350, valued at N27 million. However, Portable still owes N14 million on the vehicle.
Along with the letter, a voice recording of the car dealer has also leaked online. In the recording, the dealer, speaking in Yoruba, urges Portable to settle the outstanding balance or return the car, a request the singer reportedly refused.
This situation led to Portable’s arrest after the dealer filed a petition, citing the terms of the agreement that allowed the dealer to repossess the vehicle without refunding any payments. The controversy continues to make headlines as the singer faces legal consequences over the unpaid debt.
