Amanda Gambrell Arrested for Fraud in Blackshear, GA

Handyman business owner faces multiple financial charges

BLACKSHEAR, Ga. — Amanda Gambrell, 51, owner of ACE Handyman Services, has been arrested following a probe by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Gambrell faces multiple charges, including:

Seven counts of financial transaction card fraud
Four counts of theft by taking
One count of first-degree forgery
One count of deposit account fraud
One count of criminal attempt to commit theft

The investigation began on March 11, 2026, following a request from the Blackshear Police Department.

The GBI says the investigation is ongoing and urges anyone with information to contact the GBI Office in Douglas at (912) 389-4103.
