PRAIRIEVILLE — A Prairieville woman was sentenced to 26 years in prison Tuesday after being convicted of multiple felony sex crimes involving teenagers.

Leeann Yammarino, 44, had previously entered no contest pleas to two counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile in September.

During the sentencing hearing, Yammarino’s daughter requested the maximum penalties for each charge. Judge Gant-Turner sentenced her to 10 years for each carnal knowledge count and three years for each indecent behavior charge, totaling 26 years.

Prosecutors alleged that Yammarino engaged in sexual activity with a 14-year-old boy between January 1, 2024, and July 30, 2024. She was also accused of exchanging explicit messages with multiple teenagers aged 14 to 16.

Yammarino was arrested in August 2024 and remained in custody without bond. She will receive credit for time served and is required to register as a sex offender for 15 years.
