A College Corner man is facing multiple felony charges after a short-term drug trafficking investigation in Preble County, Ohio.
Christopher Gene Meyer, 47, came under investigation after law enforcement executed a warrant at his residence on the 110 block of Eaton Street on March 6. Investigators said Meyer consented to a search of both his home and vehicle.
Authorities reported recovering items related to drug trafficking, including approximately 47 grams of suspected fentanyl and 240 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Meyer is facing several serious charges:
Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs – first-degree felony
Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound – first-degree felony
Aggravated Possession of Drugs – first-degree felony
Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound – first-degree felony
Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – fourth-degree misdemeanor
He is currently being held in the Preble County Jail pending further proceedings.
