A man from Hamilton, New York was arrested after a traffic stop in the Town of Sangerfield, NY revealed a suspended license and controlled substances, authorities said.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped the vehicle at 10:18 a.m. on February 23 as part of a warrant investigation connected to a previous traffic stop in the Town of Paris, NY in November 2025.
The driver, Tyler Redmond, was found to have a suspended license with 42 suspensions on 14 separate dates and was also in possession of a controlled substance.
Redmond was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged at the Oneida County Correctional Facility before being released pending arraignment.
