A tragic incident in Manali has led to the arrest of Namarta, the live-in partner of 54-year-old government employee Ranjit Singh, following his suspicious death. Police have registered a murder case after Singh was found unresponsive in his rented accommodation in Patlikuhal village.
Singh, employed as a peon at a government school, had been residing with Namarta for the past five years. The case came to light when Namarta reported a fight with Singh the previous night and discovered him lifeless the next morning.
An inspection of Singh’s body revealed injury marks, prompting his wife, Tali Palmo, to allege foul play. Authorities have launched a full investigation, with a forensic team examining the scene. The body has been taken into custody for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
Police continue to investigate all aspects of the case to establish the exact circumstances leading to Singh’s death.
