Pal police conducted a night raid at Evoke Complex, Gaurav Path and arrested seven people for allegedly possessing hybrid ganja.

The main accused Dharmaraj Jagad (19) was allegedly selling ganja to youths from office number 213. Six others—Jenil Sukhadiya, Jigar Parmar, Hasit Joshi, Kevin Joshi, Rachit Pandav, and Rhythm Chauhan—were arrested for allegedly purchasing the drug for consumption.

Police seized 3.92 grams of hybrid ganja, seven mobile phones worth Rs 1.07 lakh, and Rs 27,000 in cash from the accused. Investigation revealed that Jenil Sukhadiya had prior NDPS cases with Pal police.

In a separate operation, Ajaykumar Mandal (27) was arrested from Talangpur Road with 720 grams of ganja worth Rs 36,000.

At Chowk Bazaar, Pal, police arrested Jitu Dhameliya for possessing 23 grams of ganja worth Rs 69,000. Dhruv Patel, another alleged supplier, was also booked under the NDPS Act. Dhameliya is a history-sheeter with seven prior offences.

Police are investigating possible links between these cases to a broader network of hybrid ganja suppliers in the city.
