Calloway County – A Tennessee man was arrested Sunday night in connection with a high-speed pursuit that occurred nearly four years ago, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Michael McBee, 47, of Buchanan, was taken into custody on March 1, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on an outstanding warrant linked to an August 2022 incident.

Deputies initially sought McBee in Henry County, Tennessee, in August 2022. McBee allegedly fled in a vehicle, leading officers on a pursuit that crossed state lines and continued onto a gravel road. The chase was terminated due to unsafe conditions, and a warrant was issued.

McBee now faces charges including:

Reckless driving

Various traffic violations

He is currently lodged at the Calloway County Detention Center.
