Paducah – A routine traffic stop led to multiple drug charges for Betty Jo Oliver, 47, after sheriff’s deputies discovered narcotics and other evidence in her vehicle.
The incident occurred on February 26, 2026, near the intersection of Victor Street and Yarbro Lane when deputies observed Oliver driving in a manner consistent with impairment.
During the stop, a search of her vehicle revealed marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales.
Oliver was taken into custody and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail. She now faces multiple charges, including:
Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Trafficking in methamphetamine
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Failure to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change
Authorities continue to investigate the case and any related offenses.
