The Andivali Police arrested Chandtabhushan Chauhan and Vijaykumar Chauhan, both aged between 40 and 45, in connection with the murder of 60-year-old Ramlakhan Yadav in Kandivli West, Mumbai over a property dispute in September 2025.
Police stated that the Yadav and Chauhan families had been involved in a long-standing conflict over a property in Laljipada, Kandivli West. On September 5, the accused allegedly entered Yadav’s residence forcefully, claiming ownership of the property, and verbally abused and physically assaulted him and his family using sticks, bamboo stumps, and stones.
Ramlakhan Yadav was rushed to Shatabdi Hospital, Kandivli West, treated, and discharged. The following day, he suffered chest pain and was taken back to the hospital, where he died in the ICU around 7:45 pm.
