Lasudia police arrested 19-year-old Sajid Khan, a resident of Jalla Colony in Khajrana, for trafficking the synthetic MD drug during a late-night raid near Niranjanpur vegetable market. Authorities seized 10.34 grams of the banned substance.
Police received specific intelligence that Sajid was supplying MD drugs in Mahalakshmi Nagar, Khalsa Chowk, and surrounding areas, frequently using the vegetable market as a delivery point. Acting on the tip-off, a special team intercepted him on Monday night.
Along with the drugs, officers confiscated a black motorcycle and a mobile phone, both believed to have been used in the distribution network.
A case was registered against Sajid under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act, and he was sent to police remand for further interrogation.
