The Cybercrime Police have arrested two more individuals in connection with a cyber slavery racket, including an MBA student.
The accused were responsible for converting cryptocurrency into Indian rupees and distributing it to local agents and the main accused, Nipender Chaudhary.
Arrested Individuals
Shashank Saxena (24), an MBA student currently undergoing an internship. Saxena reportedly joined Chaudhary’s cyber slavery operation to earn commissions from Chinese gangs operating out of Myanmar. He was responsible for receiving USDT and converting it into Indian rupees, earning Rs 3 per USDT conversion. Officials said he may have converted over 1 lakh USDT through multiple wallets. After earning substantial money, he traveled to Goa for leisure but was tracked and arrested in Mumbai before he could return to his native village in Uttarakhand, which is the same as Chaudhary’s.
Danish Dantreliya, arrested shortly after returning from Bali to his hometown in Sabarkantha. Danish was involved in sending individuals to Myanmar as part of the racket and received commissions from Akib Husein.
The police secured a four-day remand for both accused. With these arrests, a total of six people, including the main accused Nipender Chaudhary, are now in custody in this ongoing investigation.
Authorities continue to track other operatives and digital wallets linked to the network, aiming to dismantle the cyber slavery operation fully.
