Officers executed a search warrant at Gonzalez’s residence in the 600 block of Hosking Avenue and confiscated:

46.1 lbs of methamphetamine

2.8 lbs of black tar heroin

546 grams of cocaine

513.5 grams of marijuana

34.9 grams of fentanyl

507 pre-packaged parcels suspected of containing controlled substances

Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident and is facing federal charges related to narcotics sales.

The operation was a coordinated effort involving Bakersfield Police Department Narcotics Detectives, California Highway Patrol officers assigned to the DEA Task Force, and special agents from the DEA, Homeland Security Investigations, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), as well as the United States Postal Inspection Service offices in Pittsburgh and Iowa.

Authorities emphasized that the multi-agency collaboration was key to disrupting a major drug distribution network in the region.
