In a significant drug bust, Delhi Police arrested two individuals suspected of peddling smack, seizing 299 grams of the substance valued at around Rs 2 crore.
The accused were identified as Manav (24) from Budh Vihar, Rohini, and Harish Chander (24) from Sangam Vihar. Their arrest followed a tactical police operation in Raj Park based on a tip-off received on February 20.
Initial police action led to Manav’s arrest, with 268 grams of smack recovered. Following his cooperation, officers conducted a subsequent raid, arresting Harish Chander in Sangam Vihar two days later and seizing an additional 31 grams of the narcotic.
Both suspects are currently in judicial custody as investigations continue to trace the entire drug supply chain.
