GREENSBORO, N.C. — Jalin Gainey is being held on a $250,000 bond after police said he was arrested in connection with a shooting that injured a woman last week.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded around 10 p.m. on February 19 to a shooting in the 1500 block of Woodmere Drive. A woman was found injured at the scene.
Gainey, 30, was arrested on February 20 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, possession of a firearm by a felon, and discharge of a firearm within city limits.
Online booking records indicate Gainey is also facing a parole violation and has a pending parole hearing. The investigation remains ongoing.
