LAREDO — Kassandra Cisneros, 31, was arrested by Laredo police on February 10 after officers discovered she had multiple active felony warrants while responding to a reported theft, authorities said.
Police were dispatched around 2:31 p.m. to the 5300 block of San Dario for a theft in progress. A loss prevention employee identified a 32-year-old woman in possession of unpaid merchandise. That woman, accompanied by a juvenile, was arrested and charged with two counts of theft of property between $100 and $750.
While officers were coordinating the transfer of the juvenile, a second woman, Kassandra Cisneros, arrived at the scene. Dispatch confirmed she had active warrants out of Webb County for possession of a controlled substance and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Cisneros was booked into Webb County Jail. Her bond was set at $35,000 for two counts of possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, with additional bonds for other possession charges and unauthorized vehicle use. She remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities have not released booking details for the first woman arrested.
