Former Mountain Home Hurricanes president accused

by Sophia Bennett

A former member of the Mountain Home Hurricanes Swim Team has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of team funds.

Authorities said Olivia Ann Norris, 24, is accused of stealing more than $11,000 from the organization. At the time of the alleged offenses, Norris served as the team’s president and had authorized access to the team’s bank account.

Investigators allege Norris misused the funds for unauthorized purposes and falsified records to conceal the activity. She was arrested and charged with theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit or debit card, and falsifying business records.

Norris was released after posting a $10,000 bond. The case remains under investigation, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
