A Rockford, Illinois man is facing drug charges in a Madison, Wisconsin court, federal authorities say.
Kendrick Payton, 30, is charged with distributing controlled substances. According to the indictment, Payton allegedly distributed heroin on Dec. 18, 2024, and cocaine on Feb. 18, 2025. He is also accused of distributing 40 grams or more of fentanyl on Jan. 6, Jan. 10, and Feb. 18, 2025.
The Department of Justice said the case was investigated by the Rock County and Winnebago County sheriff’s offices, along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Details regarding Payton’s arrest have not been released.
