Winter Watson Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Lenoir

Kinston woman faces multiple fentanyl trafficking charges

LENOIR COUNTY, NC — A narcotics investigation in Lenoir County resulted in the arrest of a Kinston woman on multiple trafficking charges.

Winter Watson, 35, was taken into custody on Tuesday, December 9, at a residence off British Road, according to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said she was booked without incident into the Lenoir County Jail.

Following the investigation, Watson was charged with four counts of trafficking opium/heroin, which under North Carolina law includes fentanyl. She was granted a $500,000 secured bond.
