GREENVILLE, Pitt County, NC — A Greenville woman is facing felony charges after authorities said she embezzled cash from her employer.
Crystal Lee, 34, was arrested by Greenville police on Thursday, January 29, and charged with two counts of felony embezzlement, according to arrest warrants.
Records indicate the alleged offense occurred in December 2025, while Lee was employed as a clerk at Murphy USA, where she was entrusted with handling company funds. Warrants state she allegedly took an unknown amount of cash belonging to the business while performing her duties.
Lee is currently held at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Friday, January 30.
