ONSLOW COUNTY, NC — Jacksonville police arrested 26-year-old Ricky Lee Gaskins on January 29 in connection with multiple felony drug charges.
Authorities said Gaskins faces charges including possession of cocaine and methamphetamine, maintaining a home or vehicle used for controlled substances, and committing drug offenses within 1,000 feet of a school and a park. He is also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to court records, the alleged offenses occurred on November 6, 2025. Warrants indicate Gaskins maintained a residence on Coleman Drive, where police say cocaine and methamphetamine were stored and used. The home is located near a child daycare center in the Sandry Run area. Investigators recovered approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine and cocaine at the scene.
Gaskins is currently being held at the Onslow County Detention Center under a $70,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 30, 2026.
