OELWEIN, Iowa — Four people have been charged following a search warrant executed Tuesday night by the Oelwein Police Department.
Officers say the search on the 300 block of 7th Ave SW uncovered methamphetamines, marijuana, and stolen property.
Three juveniles were referred to juvenile court: a 17-year-old boy and girl, and a 14-year-old boy. The 17-year-olds face multiple misdemeanor drug, theft, and child endangerment charges. The 14-year-old is charged with felony burglary, along with misdemeanor theft and drug offenses.
Hayden Harkrader, 20, an Oelwein man, faces a felony third-degree burglary charge. He is also charged with five counts of vehicle burglary, child endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Harkrader is being held at the Fayette County Jail pending his initial court appearance. Police stated that additional charges may be filed and that the investigation is ongoing.
