LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. — A Kinston woman is facing multiple charges for allegedly distributing drugs to inmates at the Lenoir County Jail, authorities said.

Morgan Williams, 28, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises and five counts of providing contraband to an inmate, according to deputies.

Williams was brought to the jail on December 29 for a parole violation. While in custody, deputies say she possessed Suboxone and distributed it to five other female inmates.

Williams remains held without bond and is awaiting commitment to state prison for the parole violation.

Court records also show that she was arrested on Christmas Day for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
