BEAUFORT, N.C. — A Beaufort gas station employee has been arrested for embezzlement, authorities said.
Dimitri Johnson, 30, was charged after allegedly taking more than $1,200 from a Speedway gas station where he worked as a clerk in December.
Warrants filed in the case list two counts of embezzlement against Johnson.
He was booked into the Carteret County Jail and is facing a $20,000 bond.
Johnson’s next court hearing is scheduled for February 6th.
