In a major breakthrough, the Noida Police have arrested two men in connection with the tragic death of 27-year-old tech professional Yuvraj Mehta. Mehta lost his life when his vehicle plunged into a water-filled pit near a public road in Sector-150, sparking widespread concern.
The detained suspects, Ravi Bansal and Sachin Karanwal, are linked to Lotus Green Company and a local construction firm. The arrests followed a complaint from Mehta’s family, prompting the Greater Noida Police to file a First Information Report (FIR) under applicable legal sections.
Authorities have intensified the investigation, with FIRs now registered against five additional individuals for alleged violations of environmental and pollution control laws. The legal action highlights serious safety lapses at the construction site, which reportedly lacked proper precautions, endangering public safety.
