GUADALUPE COUNTY, TX — A Seguin man, Joshua Ricketts, 42, was arrested after a domestic disturbance call led deputies to uncover narcotics, illegal firearms, and a large amount of cash.

Guadalupe County deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm early Sunday morning on the 700 block of Cordova Loop. During the response, deputies intercepted a vehicle attempting to flee the scene.

A search of the vehicle and surrounding area revealed multiple handguns, a substantial quantity of narcotics, and significant cash. While in custody, Ricketts reportedly damaged a patrol vehicle and briefly accessed a rifle, which was secured without incident.

Ricketts faces multiple charges, including narcotics offenses, unlawful carrying of a weapon, money laundering, criminal mischief, and assault.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident. The case highlights ongoing law enforcement efforts to address violent and drug-related offenses in Guadalupe County.
