Iftar Khan & Wasim Khan Arrested in MD Drug Bust

Ringnod police seize 200g mephedrone worth Rs 20 lakh

Ringnod police have arrested Iftar Khan and Wasim Khan, both residents of Daudkhedi village, Mandsaur district, after seizing 200 grams of MD (mephedrone) drugs worth Rs 20 lakh from a Swift car during a vehicle check. The total value of the seized items, including the car, is approximately Rs 25 lakh.

The operation was carried out following directives from SP Amit Kumar, who had instructed all station officers in Ratlam district to take strict action against illegal drug trafficking. The operation was conducted under the guidance of ASP Rakesh Khakha, ASP Vivek Kumar Lal, and SDOP Sandeep Malviya.

On Friday evening, police received information that two individuals were traveling in a Swift car (registration GJ05JE0428) carrying MD drugs. Acting swiftly, a police cordon was set up near Manankheda outpost, and the vehicle was intercepted.

The arrested accused are facing charges under the NDPS Act. SI Rajesh Malviya, who oversees Ringnod Station and Manankheda Outpost, led the operation. Police investigations are ongoing to identify further links in the drug network.
