BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. — A Bennington man has been arrested after allegedly attacking his mother and her dog with a knife, according to court records.
Authorities identified the suspect as 29-year-old Dustin Ward. Police say Ward attacked his mother and the family dog before barricading himself inside an RV and refusing to comply with a deputy’s commands.
Ward has been charged with animal cruelty, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and obstructing an officer. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
