Thomas Sawyer Arrested in Cullman on Drug Charges

CULLMAN, Ala. — Cullman police arrested Thomas Sawyer, 44, on multiple charges following a targeted investigation into drug-related activity in the community.

Officers conducted proactive enforcement after receiving complaints about drug activity, ultimately obtaining a search warrant for a local residence. The Cullman Police Tactical Unit assisted in executing the warrant safely.

Sawyer was taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Governmental Operations, and Resisting Arrest. Authorities said the operation reflects their ongoing commitment to public safety.
