NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a North Charleston apartment complex on Wednesday afternoon, police report.
Authorities identified the suspect as Julian Shane Issa, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Police say officers were called to the Kilnsea Village Apartments around 5 p.m. after a shooting was reported. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately began life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dorchester County EMS.
Issa was taken into custody following the incident and transported to the Dorchester County Jail. The investigation remains ongoing.
