NAMPA, Idaho — Two Nampa residents have been arrested in connection with the death of their infant son, authorities said.
Nampa Police responded shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 16, 2025, to a home on the 300 block of Lone Star Road, where emergency services confirmed the infant was deceased.
The father, 31-year-old Brian Allen Lemke, initially told officers the mother was not at home. Detectives later discovered evidence suggesting the baby had died at a different location and was moved into the house. The mother, 28-year-old Allysen Raider Armenta, was found hiding in a trailer in the backyard.
Court records show that both Lemke and Armenta have prior convictions and charges related to child abuse and animal neglect dating back to 2017. In 2019, they were charged with three counts of felony injury to a child after deputies found three toddlers living in unsafe conditions, including exposure to garbage, moldy food, sharp objects, and unsanitary diapers. Both pleaded guilty and served 180 days in jail after violating parole.
Police have charged Lemke and Armenta with felony injury to a child, destroying evidence, and resisting or obstructing. The investigation remains ongoing, and the cause of the infant’s death is pending the results of an autopsy.
