8 Arrested for Vehicle Burglaries at Louisiana Mudfest

Suspects face multiple burglary and conspiracy charges

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KALB) — Eight individuals have been arrested in connection with vehicle burglaries that occurred during Louisiana Mudfest from April 25-27, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO).

Authorities received about 12 reports of vehicle break-ins at the popular off-road event. A coordinated investigation led to the arrests of the following individuals:

Christopher Michael Walker, Jr., 18, of Natchitoches: 7 counts of simple burglary, criminal damage to property, criminal conspiracy

Dorian Deonte Aught, 18, of Natchitoches: 7 counts of simple burglary, criminal damage to property, criminal conspiracy

Jermaurion Tyrell Simmons, 18, of Natchitoches: Simple burglary, criminal damage to property

Jordan Daniels, 17, of Natchitoches: 7 counts of simple burglary, criminal conspiracy, resisting an officer

Damon Amonte Miller, 23, of Coushatta: 2 counts of simple burglary, criminal damage to property, possession of burglary tools, illegal possession of stolen things

Justin Cornell Madison, 19, of Natchitoches: 5 counts of simple burglary, criminal conspiracy

LChristian McDaniel, 20, of Natchez: 5 counts of simple burglary, criminal conspiracy

Ryan Babineaux, 20, of Natchitoches: 2 counts of simple burglary, criminal conspiracy

RPSO emphasized that the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests or charges may follow. Eventgoers are urged to remain vigilant and secure their belongings at large gatherings.
